How does AndroForte®5 work?

 

AndroForte®5 cream is a topical testosterone cream made by Lawley Pharmaceuticals in Australia and is approved by the Australian Government’s Department of Health and Ageing Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) for export. This hormone replacement therapy cream for men contains bioidentical hormones, meaning it is exactly the same testosterone as your body produces.

Before you begin treatment, your blood testosterone levels should be monitored to establish a baseline and should be tested again after one month of AndroForte®5 therapy. It is recommended to have the blood panel taken in the morning to ensure that it is working and you are receiving the optimal dose.

The ideal testosterone levels for men are 375-1200 ng/dl or 10-35 nmol/l, depending on the methods used by your lab. Typically, free testosterone levels should be between 50-175 pg/ml or 260-740 pmol/l.

Dosing Information

The recommended starting dose for AndroForte®5 is 0.5ml of cream applied directly to the scrotum every morning. The beginning dose for testosterone therapy is usually 25mg of testosterone. For best results AndroForte®5 should not be applied to hydrated skin. If you have been prescribed a lower amount of testosterone cream, please contact us and we can help you calculate the ideal dosage.AndroForte®5 is absorbed scrotally 5-7 times better than upper body application making it the ideal choice to apply less and get more. AndroForte®5 has a shelf life of 2 years from the manufacture date.
